Having worked with Cpt. Manny for over 10 years now, I can truly say that he is one of the most trustworthy and conservation minded individuals I have had the good fortune to meet in this industry. At URS, I was an environmental scientist working to quantify the impacts of man made development on ecological systems in Biscayne Bay and Florida Bay. Manny was our charter captain, who assisted myself and other scientists to navigate the waters of South Florida for our assessments and mitigation work. Aside from his professionalism, even in the worst of weather situations, what astonishes me the most about Manny is his love and respect for the ocean and its creatures. Although he was not trained in marine biology as I was, his vast wealth of practical and scientific knowledge was incredibly helpful to our teams over the years. My Great Experience with Manny Diaz from Hooker Yachts. After using another broker two years ago to sell my vessel, I didn’t really get the feeling that they appreciated my business, it was like I was just another customer, so when I decided to take the plunge and purchase another larger vessel, I searched for a broker that actually took the time to sit down with me, find out what boat was really going to make me happy, all within my personal budget.  I never felt pressured and after Manny personally supervised the marine survey, I knew he’d found the right boat for me.  He even helped negotiate the price down quite a bit from the buyers asking price.
